Data Umbrella - Event Board #

  • Description: This project improves a community event discovery platform by expanding both the frontend and backend workflows. The frontend, built in React.js, will provide richer search, filtering, and map-based exploration of events. The backend, implemented as a static site generation pipeline running in GitHub Actions, will be extended to support structured event metadata, automated updates, and community-friendly submission instructions. The result will be a more usable, searchable, and maintainable platform for discovering technical and community events.
